Modern
Restoration
Burnsville
Kitchen • Bathroom • Sitting Room

This Burnsville home sat vacant for a period of time and had fallen into significant disrepair, despite being located in a wonderful established neighborhood. As the entire home underwent renovation, we were brought in to help transform the kitchen, bathroom, and sitting room into fresh, elevated spaces that would give the house a renewed sense of life and prepare it for its next family.
The Client's Needs
The goal was to thoughtfully restore these key spaces with updated finishes, lighting, flooring, and architectural details while creating a timeless foundation that felt polished without becoming overly specific to one homeowner’s style.

Our Design Priorities
1
Create Timeless Impact
Use clean lines, refined finishes, and thoughtful details to create spaces that feel high-end and memorable without overpowering the home.
2
Bring New Life to the Home
Replace dated and deteriorated elements with fresh materials, lighting, and finishes that make the home feel bright, cared for, and ready to be lived in again.
3
Create a Blank Slate
Establish a sophisticated but approachable foundation that allows future homeowners to bring in their own personality, furnishings, and style.

Kitchen
The kitchen was designed with clean lines and an elevated simplicity that makes a statement without overwhelming the space. Refined finishes and thoughtful detailing give it a high-end feel, while generous counter seating creates a natural gathering place and keeps the design approachable for whatever style the future homeowners bring to it.

Bathroom
The bathroom embraces an idea of accessible luxury, pairing a bright, refreshing palette with a spa-inspired atmosphere. A generous double vanity, walk-in shower, timeless tub, and beautiful marble-look floor tile create a space that feels both polished and relaxing, bringing a sense of everyday luxury to the home.

Sitting Room
The sitting room was transformed into a bright, simple retreat centered around the home’s architectural features. Skylights and crisp white walls maximize the natural light, while the contrast of dark flooring and a refined brass fireplace adds warmth and sophistication without making the room feel overly designed.

A note from the owner,
"What I loved most about this project was seeing a home that had been sitting vacant and neglected begin to feel alive again. We were able to take these spaces from dated and in disrepair to fresh, elevated, and ready for a family to make them their own. I loved that the design could feel sophisticated and complete while still leaving room for the next homeowners to bring their own personality into it. It was exciting to help give this house a new beginning and create a home that is ready to be enjoyed for years to come."
